Buying on Martha’s Vineyard
We don’t just do rentals. We help you find your place on the island.
Rent Martha’s Vineyard is part of Grace Hagerty Real Estate, a full-service Vineyard brokerage. Our agents guide buyers through every step of purchasing a home here, from the first showing to the closing table, and long after.
Why buy with us
Buying a Vineyard home is personal. So is the way we help.
Finding the right home on the island takes more than a search engine. It takes someone who knows which roads flood in a nor’easter, which ponds are best for a sunset swim, and what a house on a quiet dirt road in Chilmark is really worth.
We have spent decades on the Vineyard helping families find, rent and care for homes here. Whether you want a summer place for the family, a year-round home or a house that pays for itself in the season, we will help you find it and buy it well.
What you get
A local team on your side, start to finish.
Every town from Aquinnah to Edgartown, and the neighborhoods, views and roads that set one house apart from the next.
We manage vacation rentals every week of the summer, so we can show you what a home is likely to earn before you buy it.
Showings, offers, inspections, financing and closing, coordinated by one team that answers the phone.
Planning to rent it out? We can manage it for you, with your calendar, rates and house details in our Owner Hub from the start.
